Please join the Counseling Dept. Tuesday, September 19th at 7 pm in the Pope Performing Arts Center (PAC) as members of the Pope Counseling Department discuss the following topics:

• The Counseling Department and how we partner with you and your student over your time at Pope
• Grade Point Average/HOPE Scholarship
• Report card vs transcript
• Promotion and graduation requirements
• College and future planning topics and resources – i.e. Naviance/GAFutures/YouScience
• PSAT – coming October 11th – all 9th and 10th grader fees are covered and all will be testing that morning
• Academic Advisement Opportunities to discuss rigor and balance for your child
• Dual Enrollment
• High School Parent Do’s and Don’ts
• Q&A

All parents/guardians, especially if your freshman/sophomore is your oldest child, are encouraged to attend.
