CLASS OF 2026 PTSA SCHOLARSHIPS
The Pope HS PTSA is proud to award scholarships to graduating Seniors who have exhibited outstanding service and volunteerism to Pope HS, feeder schools, and the community. Applying Seniors should exhibit proven community involvement, demonstrate leadership characteristics, and plan to continue their education at either a 4 or 2-year college or university and/or trade school.
APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE POPE PTSA for the 2025 - 2026 academic calendar year.

GRANTS
Grants Awarded during the 2024-25 school year
Thanks to your PTSA membership dues, this year we have been able to approve and fulfill the following grant requests from Pope teachers:
Special Education:
- Music Therapy for Special Education Classes
- White color polo type shirts embossed with Pope Transition Academy (x20)
- Texas Instruments TI-30XS for special education math classes(x10)
- Cordless vacuum cleaner for Special Education/Life Skills classes (x1)
- Swing chair with stand for Special Education classes (x1)
General Education:
- Fisher Science Education Portable Balances for the Science department (x5)
- TI-84 calculator with rechargeable batteries (x20)
- Grommet Drill for Graphic Design department (x2)
- TI-36x pro calculators for Math department (x10)
- Academic Team Buzzer System 10 Player System for social studies department Social Studies (they started a history bowl/history bee academic competition team and needed a buzzer system for practice and competitions)
- Subscription renewal of National Council for Geography Education for social studies department (x1)
- Blank Masks for10th Grade Literature students (for a project using the mask in conjunction with a writing assignment)
- Power strips for social studies department (x30)
- Robotics Parts for Robotics team/Engineering classes (we have been inundated with students who want to join our robotics program. We started with five students and currently have over 45+ students. We have had to add two more competition teams and are low on supplies to do that. Last year's team won the Design Award and qualified for Nationals (which they attended the competition in Omaha NE)
- Biology Microscope slides for science department
- CZUR ET 24 Pro Professional book scanner for social studies department (x1)
- Supplies for new science elective for next school year (Meteorology) for science department.

- Rubber stamps country passport 21-pc assortment for Spanish Dept for spanish speaking countries
- CTAE-Graphic Design and Communications Sawgrass® SG1000 Extended SubliJet UHD Printer Bundle for Graphic Design Dept (to print specialty items for a gift shop the graphics program opened. Students also designed and printed yard signs for teacher appreciation week that were around campus,)
- Fisher Science Education™ Portable Balances for 3 classes
- 70 World Atlas copies
- Chess Games; 3D Brain Teaser puzzles for Learning Commons
- 6 Dutch Ovens for the Culinary Dept
- Class Dry Erase whiteboards
- XP Pen
- Purchase 15 Spectrum Interlink. DX Simulator Controllers to complete the Pope Engineering Remote Controlled Flight Simulator Lab. Currently, the Lab consists of 15 Remote Controlled Flight Controllers, and with the addition of these 15, it will complete the 30-seat Lab.
- Post It Super Sticky Easel Pads
- Bulk 48 Pc. Papier-Mâché DIY Masks to complete a literary project in combination with reading Lord of the Flies
- Subscription to JStor. College-level research across many subjects including English, Social Studies, and Science.
